A Caring, Collaborative Approach to Help Youth Thrive
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience helping children and adolescents navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges that can interfere with daily life. I believe that meaningful change happens when children feel supported and empowered, and caregivers are included as partners in care. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in evidence-based treatments tailored to each client’s unique needs and strengths. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, followed by an internship at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Colorado. I have worked at Lurie Children’s Hospital for over 15 years, and am an Associate Professor at Northwestern University, where I mentor graduate students and lead grant-funded research on effective, school-based mental health interventions.
